Whole Wheat Bread




Ingredients


  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 150g wheat flour
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 220ml warm water
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 20g sugar
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients into a bowl; mix thoroughly until the dough comes together.
  2. Knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough has a smooth surface and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  3. Place the dough in a light oil bowl and proof for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. When the dough is ready, punch it to release the air. 
  5. Shape the dough by rounding it.
  6. Dust the shaped dough with flour.
  7. With a bread lame make a cut from the middle top of the dough down to the middle bottom, then you turn the dough 90° and repeat the cut.
  8. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200° C (392°F ).
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly golden.
