Whole Wheat Bread
Ingredients
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 150g wheat flour
- 7g dry yeast
- 220ml warm water
- 20ml olive oil
- 20g sugar
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a bowl; mix thoroughly until the dough comes together.
- Knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough has a smooth surface and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Place the dough in a light oil bowl and proof for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- When the dough is ready, punch it to release the air.
- Shape the dough by rounding it.
- Dust the shaped dough with flour.
- With a bread lame make a cut from the middle top of the dough down to the middle bottom, then you turn the dough 90° and repeat the cut.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200° C (392°F ).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly golden.
