Super Soft Bread
Ingredients
- 300g flour (1 cup and 3/4 )
- 40g sugar (3 tbsp. )
- 8g salt (1 tsp.)
- 10g dry yeast (1 tbsp. )
- 200ml warm milk (3/4 cup)
- 20ml oil (2 tbsp. )
- 1egg
Instructions
- Add into the bowl milk, sugar, and yeast. Mix thoroughly. Leave to proof for 10 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and oil.
- Knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough has a smooth surface.
- Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl. Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
- When the dough is ready, punch it to release the air.
- Roll out the dough in an oblong shape. Leave 1/4 of the dough unrolled.
- Take your sharp knife and make lots of lengthwise cuts.
- Roll the dough. Transform it on the prepared tray.
- Cover the bread with a towel and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Brush it with egg wash.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes at 200 degrees C (392 degrees F).
