Super Soft Bread




Ingredients

  • 300g flour (1 cup and 3/4 )
  • 40g sugar (3 tbsp. )
  • 8g salt (1 tsp.)
  • 10g dry yeast (1 tbsp. )
  • 200ml warm milk (3/4 cup)
  • 20ml oil (2 tbsp. )
  • 1egg

Instructions

  • Add into the bowl milk, sugar, and yeast. Mix thoroughly. Leave to proof for 10 minutes.
  • Add flour, salt, and oil.
  • Knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough has a smooth surface.
  • Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl. Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
  • When the dough is ready, punch it to release the air.
  • Roll out the dough in an oblong shape. Leave 1/4 of the dough unrolled.
  • Take your sharp knife and make lots of lengthwise cuts.
  • Roll the dough. Transform it on the prepared tray.
  • Cover the bread with a towel and let it rise for 30 minutes.
  • Brush it with egg wash.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes at 200 degrees C (392 degrees F).
