Strawberry Turkish Delight






Ingredients

  • 240ml strawberry juice
  • 200g sugar
  • 40g cornstarch
  • pinch of salt
  • 10g butter

Instructions

  1. Add strawberry juice, sugar, and cornstarch into a saucepan; stir thoroughly until fully combined.
  2. Place on low heat and boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Keep whisking all the time to make a smooth and gloopy mix.
  4. Add a pinch of salt and butter to the mixture. takeout the whisk and stir with a spatula.
  5. Keep stirring until the mixture is thick enough and starts to leave the sides of the saucepan.; this can take up to 20-25 minutes.
  6. Pour everything on an oily plastic wrap.
  7. Leave to cool and set completely.
  8. Cut it into cubes with a sharp knife.
  9. Coat with sugar.
