Strawberry Turkish Delight
Ingredients
- 240ml strawberry juice
- 200g sugar
- 40g cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 10g butter
Instructions
- Add strawberry juice, sugar, and cornstarch into a saucepan; stir thoroughly until fully combined.
- Place on low heat and boil for 5 minutes.
- Keep whisking all the time to make a smooth and gloopy mix.
- Add a pinch of salt and butter to the mixture. takeout the whisk and stir with a spatula.
- Keep stirring until the mixture is thick enough and starts to leave the sides of the saucepan.; this can take up to 20-25 minutes.
- Pour everything on an oily plastic wrap.
- Leave to cool and set completely.
- Cut it into cubes with a sharp knife.
- Coat with sugar.
Serve!
