Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 120g soft butter (1/2 cup)
- 60g icing sugar (1/2 cup)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 135g flour (1 cup + 1tbsp)
- 30g cornflour (1\4 cup)
Instructions
- In a bowl, add soft butter and icing sugar; mix thoroughly until smooth and light.
- Add the egg and vanilla in; mix together until well combined.
- Sift the flour and cornflour. Add it to the mixture with a pinch of salt. Stir the dough until creamy and smooth.
- Fit a large piping bag with a piping tip. Pipe cookies round.
- Bake in preheated oven to 170°C (338°F ) for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies start to brown.
