Turkish Flatbread Bazlama
Soft and fluffy Turkish flatbread. Delicious!
Ingredients
- 500g flour
- 160ml warm milk
- 160ml warm water
- 2 tbsp. dry yeast
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 8g salt
- 18ml olive oil
- Parsley + olive oil
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients except the oil into a bowl.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes,
- Add the olive oil
- Knead for 10 minutes or until the dough has a smooth surface and pull away from the surface of the bowl.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and let proof for 1 hour or until the dough doubled in size.
- Once the dough has doubled in size; divide it into 6 equal pieces and roll it into a ball.
- Cover it with plastic wrap to prevent forming dry skin, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Place the pan for one to two minutes on medium heat on each side.
- Brush the flatbread all over with olive oil and parsley as they come off the pan.
